Anyone else catch this guy on KVIE? First I ever heard of him. Local guy from Lodi and his band were just terrific. Garner has Johnny down pat big time. Voice, look, mannerisms and folksy style. They said he played at Folsom Prison too for the anniversary of the Cash concert. Check him out. He is also going to be at the Crest Theater April 22, 2017. I am in for sure..

My husband is a big Johnny Cash fan, he was watching this show too. He could pass for Johnny's grandson, Amazing resemblance and the voice is right on. :rockguitar:

Check out The Cash Prophets if you get a chance. They play all over locally and it's usually only a small cover. Caught them at the Orangevale Brew event. Pretty good if you like JC.   https://www.facebook...82247055162317/

He's played here in Folsom quite a few times, including the Powerhouse Pub, the Amgen Tour, and the Folsom Hotel.

Excellent stuff.

Steve, hoping to to see him in April. Good to know about the Folsom connection. Those little intimate shows must have been great. Thanks. :rockguitar:

Hey, I love this. I went to Amazon and will be buying this CD.

A heads up for Johnny Cash fans. KVIE will be re broadcasting the James Garner tribute tomorrow night, Thursday at 9:30pm. The 90 minute show is well worth the watch. One can even tape it without the usual KVIE fundraising. Enjoy!
