I think having that store keep open at night will be good for business cause the folks in the bars will be braver after having a few and it would be a nice place to go shopping if you met a new friend in the bar.

I think from the paper that the guy going after the business is the same fellow that helped get that south of 50 initiative killed so watch for him to sic the attorney on him.

Wonder what would happen if somebody wanted to put a Hooters Bar in there.

Shucks the way young folks are today, a lot may not wear underwear and having a store there after a beer or two may just get them back on track.

I can't believe people are upset by a Lingerie Shop. People in the US are way to anti-sex. So its ok to have our kids play games and watch movies where people die but don't show them some sexy cloths. Come on people its a Lingerie shop, not a porn shop.

What the heck... Sutter IS supposed to be a replica of what it was like back in the gold rush days. Why not just put in houses of prostitution? Talk about adding "color" to our little town!

I'm not anti-sex. I'm just against anyone having it. If God wanted people to have sex...........ah, nevermind.

Actually, Adamal, it supposedly will have porn stuff in the back. By code, it cannot cover more than 25% of the store floor area. I hear they will have a Grand Opening special: Buy four straps, get a whip for free. Sorry, best I could do under pressure.

I suppose you're not familiar with Emma's Place? It's still there, further down off Leidesdorf, and waiting for City decision on possible uses. Maybe a classroom for Parks and Rec activities is what I heard.

The local house of ill repute -- or back when it was in use, I think it was of good repute. Most recently it was used as a dance studio.

And Democrats in particular have a history of facilitating this obstructionism in exchange for campaign donations and votes." . . .Amanda Ripley re "Waiting for Superman" movie.

Well if it turns out to be an Evangeline's-type store I welcome it. I'm sick of having to drive clear to old-town Sac and pay for parking every time I need props/costumes for a production.
