I've been happy with Larissa at Quick Alterations next to 24-hour on Riley 984-8560. She does much more than alterations.

Hi 4thgenFolsomite,

 

Did you or your friend go with Larissa? If so, were pleased? If not, any other recommendations? Main priority is getting a pair of ladies trousers hemmed. I'm also interested in having the waist taken in if it is not too pricey and doesn't mess with the rest of the fit -- I can get by with a belt if need be.

 

Any other recommendations are welcome. I'd like to stay local, but willing to go into Orangevale/Fair Oaks.

I did some more searching here on myfolsom and found rave reviews for Lys Floyd. I have an appointment scheduled for later this week. Thank you, and I might post a review when finished.
