We at the APA call for an end to psychiatrists providing professional opinions in the media about public figures whom they have not examined, whether it be on cable news appearances, books, or in social media. Armchair psychiatry or the use of psychiatry as a political tool is the misuse of psychiatry and is unacceptable and unethical.

That's a good rule, Joe.
Normally it would be my guiding principle, but the danger posed to America by the

clearly disturbed behavior of this so-called president requires a more forceful stand.

 

He's clearly wrestling with some mental, personality, and cognitive problems.

Restarting the Cold War.

Torturing migrants.

Monkeying with the economy,

Dissing the Free Press.

 

I honestly feel an intervention is in order and it has nothing to do with politics.
