I noticed this past weekend that Dollar Tree has signs up where the Ralph's used to be across the street from Raley's on Blue Ravine. Something better than an empty building I guess right?

Too bad the Strike's never went in.  What a boom for the city that would have been.  Glad one or two people derailed that one!

+1 for Strikes.  I am disappointed that it will be a dollar store. It would have been much nicer to have a fun, social activity in that part of Folsom as opposed to cheap peanut butter and toilet paper.   :(

Yeah, Another Dollar Tree. With dollar tree anchoring that shopping center perhaps now they can attract Jamba Juice,  Red Box, Sbarro another Goodwill collection center and a Hydroponics supply outlet. This is way more of an asset to the community then Strikes would have ever been.

But strikes would bring THOSE people. You know. Bowlers.

The 'other' discount store in town seems to have upscale shops around it too.  No, not really.  Interesting to see what types will be flooding this area now too.  Could only imagine how busy Strike's would have been on weekends with birthday parties and such.  Last few times we went to the one in Roseville/Rocklin it was packed!

Its likely success was its downfall. NIMBYism.

So not happy about this - would have LOVED Strikes. One Dollar Tree in town is plenty!

One dollar tree every other town is more than enough. Hate those stores.
