What a deal for Democrats: They get to hold the economy for ransom, and the media blithely cover for them.
On Thursday, Senate Democrats nixed a simple but urgent request to boost cash in the emergency small business loan program Congress set up this month from $350 billion to $600 billion.
Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin requested the cash because funds are running low, just weeks after the program launched.
Rather than comply, Democrats issued demands: They insisted the new money include $60 billion for community-based lenders that serve minorities, women, nonprofits and other groups. And the bill also had to OK an immediate $250 billion for cities, states, hospitals, food stamps and other needs.
Everything is an opportunity, explained House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Democrats, she said, will use talks over more loan funds as a way to address disparities in America.
And if they dont get their way, no one gets a dime more. Never mind that businesses face bankruptcy or that 17 million people filed for jobless benefits in recent weeks

Slow, you speak the truth, but no one listens..... Money is free, just print more... Pelosi is so taking advantage of this but the MSM will not call her out. Pork belly spending for liberal do nothing causes, all they do is get the idiots and the low information voters to vote for them (her) again......... I can't wait for Pelosi to time out, her, Schumer, and RBG............. Not wishing death, just a great retirement, to ride off into the liberal sunset of wine, bunnies, endless money, social justice as they believe it, and really great cars, gated homes, servants, chauffeurs, house maids, drivers, no homeless within miles of them, their estates...... Trust me, I can show you Pelosi's estate on Zinfandel Drive near Calistoga....... Very nice property, I am thinking 200 plus acres of grapes, a wall, and a gate, right up next to the Napa River. One could only hope to have such an estate... And she makes how much a year...? Yep, that $190K a year does not get you that 60 milliokn dollar property. Can't wait until an actual journalist goes after that story, and the story of South of 50 where she is making a killing on that land, made a killing, her the Tsakopoulos family, Angelides family, Feinstein, and maybe even our local guy, what's his name.... Miklos....? That would be a great story to go after. SacBee, you game...? No, not really, those are democrats, we don't go there..... God help us when these are the heroes of the left........... But then the left won't report all of the story. Thus, we get Pelosi............. And the others mentioned above. And nothing is reported or brought to light...? Someday the real story will come out. Come on "investigative journalists" this is such low hanging fruit, why no stories. If any of these folks were Republicans you would be all over it like flies on a roast pig...! Chris

My uncle also used to have a pig pit, so I have had a few different whole pigs. The closest I have come to cooking a pig myself is an 18 lb leg that I did on a portable rotisserie (grizzly spit...works great for camping...spun that 18 pounds all day on 2 "d" cells). I have also done bourbon glazed loins on that grizzly spit while camping, and they came out AWESOME.
Would like to try the Cuban style cracked back pig over open flame someday. My buddy that used to do the pig is talking about buying a building for his get-togethers and renting out the commercial kitchen he will install to his nephew for his sauces. Fingers crossed... more pig.

Leaders agree that Democrat interference has caused the unnecessary death of thousands across the country as they wasted invaluable time and resources with their absurd impeachment while Trump worked tirelessly to save lives here and abroad.

Obama will make the endorsement of his former vice president in a video message, offering why he believes Biden is the candidate needed at this moment of crisis in America, a person close to the former president says.
It also marks the public re-emergence of Obama into the political arena.
Adults are back on the stage.

A sexual assault allegation against presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden that was largely ignored in the mainstream media when it surfaced last month is starting to attract more attention, earning long stories in both The New York Times and Washington Post in recent days -- but prominent Democrats continue to stay silent on the story, including most of the women who have been discussed as potential vice presidential picks.
