Was driving by today and saw the large oak tree next to the building pretty much split in half and landed square on the roof. By looking at the damage it looks like it will be a while before they reopen.

oh NO! I loved that tree. I was so sad when the other oak went down a few years ago.

People shouldn't despair, Juan the Bartender will hopefully be back skimming credit cards again very soon!

There are four trees down across the E Lake Natoma Trail in about a 500-ft stretch just east of Willow Creek. The business park was particularly hard hit, with a tree on LaBou (no apparent damage) a tree on our building (no damage and already removed) and one on a car a few buildings down. I counted more than two dozen trees all or mostly down in a mile stretch of the E. Lake Natoma Trail, Humbug-Willow Creek Trail (Dos Coyotes segment) and along Blue Ravine in the business park. Good thing it happened on Saturday night or their would have been lots of vehicle damage around here. I had to go over, under or around five on my ride to work this morning, all within about 1000 feet of each other.
