It appears that the system will take more than one vote from a person, so how meaningful are the ratings?

It does appeaer that way now.. yesterday it gave me (you already voted) message when I tried it 2-3 times on the same post..

I dont see much value in it anyways. and since I normally ues today's new Posts and got the last one , I rarely see it as it is at the very top of the page....

Actually, it just changes your vote. It doesn't count twice.

I don't know how useful it is, but it's a nice doo-da on the forums now. :-)

I really hope the next rev of the software will have a "karma" feature (you vote on the user).

The rating feature is a nice tool, and helps me decide which topics to open.
