He's gone. He should had had teleconference technology so that he and his sons don't have to have meeting in the same room and same building. biggrin.gif

I think he is. Even if he is still alive, it would seem the fear Iraqis' had for him has died, and that is what is most important.

I agree with c_vanderveen. Sadam was such a monster to his people for 25 years.

  • Interests:My interests vary. However, they focus mainly on my husband and children. Getting my boys through college and creating a good life for themselves. I enjoy anything creative, artistic and thought provoking. Music ranges from Andrea Boccelli to some hiphop groups. I enjoy dancing, singing and life in general. Former U.S. Marine - pretty conservative in my opinions but always open to listening to what others have to say.

I don't think he is dead.

I think some country is harboring him (France? Russia? China?). I'm pretty sure his family (wife, daughters, grandchildren and possibly him and his sons) left Iraq way.....way........ before the war started.

I wouldn't hesitate to bet that he had plastic surgery to his face to change his features so that he would be able to move about the world without being recognized. If he would go as far as changing other people's faces to look like him, I'm sure he wouldn't flinch at the thought of doing it to himself or his sons. Plus, Uday could use a tuck or two here and there or everywhere.

The Iraqi Minister of Information or "Baghdad Bob" made many references that were unbelievable in the face of the war but I remember him saying quite clearly and with conviction that the U.S. would be chasing a shadow.

If he is still in Baghdad, maybe he is 30 or 40 feet below ground level where he belongs - closer to heck. Maybe we could seal all the bunkers, tunnels and caves.

As for Osama Bin Ladin, he is definitely in Pakistan. He has many followers there.
