just opened five days ago.  its where the sushi restaurant was down by Karen's Bakery.

its called ARZ Lebanese.  Very good!  I drove by on Sunday and popped in for dinner.  started with the eggplant appetizer (not the kind I prefer, which is more Persian, but still good), a cucumber and yogurt salad (very good) and a mixed green salad with tomato and cucumber (also very good and very refreshing).  for entrees we had the mixed grill and the chicken kabobs. it comes with a nice garlic aioli and choice of rice or French fries, plus these thin triangular bread pieces spread with a slightly spicy sauce topped with mixed fresh herbs and we opted for rice.

everything was fresh and nicely presented.  ample servings.  plenty for left-overs (which I just ate for lunch!).  definitely will be back and looking forward to trying more, including the sandwiches.

by the way, I also see the French place is open so that is next.

Fantastic! I love to see new businesses opening.

I just looked at their menu. I've got to try it.

Awesome! Love Lebanese cuisine. Can usually only get it when I'm in the bay area.

This is good news.

(on a related note: I miss that sushi place that was there, it was really good.....)

Do you mean Maguro or Shoki's?

I recently discovered that Shoki's re-opened in Sac, and now has 2 locations.

okay, I bumped this because someone was asking.  this is the lebanese restaurant next to Fleur de Lis down in the Lakes center (by Karens Bakery)
