Thank you for that post, Baldguy (although it made me cry)! I'm so proud of the turnout from Folsom residents. Wish I could have been there.

My hubby was there at the folsom event, but I couldn’t make it. Thanks for the footage....it choked me up.

Yes, we DO live in a really great country. :USA:

As for the grief of the Mote family....there are no words. I wish them all the best.

PHOTOS: Motorcade in honor of fallen El Dorado Marine

Several hundred turned out at McClellan Airfield Thursday and untold numbers more paid their respects along a motorcade route for Staff Sgt. Sky Mote who was killed on duty in Afghanistan Aug. 10.

I was walking in to work today, and noticed a truck that had the following words written on them: "God bless Srgt Mote, RIP".

I teared up & thought, Amen & amen!

What a wonderful display of love from our community.
