well actually, it has a lot to do with the fear of vaccinations, the lack of availability for medical care within our communities, combined with setting loose 40k people into the us in the last two months with very serious health conditions that has not been a problem in most parts of the US for 50 years or more. Where there is comfort there is a sense of rational non-urgency in matters, I think. Yes, I do think the two topics are fair to discuss together. 

Actually the original post is about autism wits its increase in diagnosis as it erroneously has been linked to vaccinations, not the current situation of illegal immigrants flooding our southern border (porous as it is) who are in many cases perhaps without any current vaccinations .  As a result, in addition to the strain on any number of our various services for such individuals, there illegals are reported to be re-introducing possible diseases due to their lack of health care.  Moderators this seems like a 2nd topic that deserves its own thread.
