Grocery store- I suppose this all depends on what part of town you live in but hands down, Safeway has the friendliest staff and are the most helpful. (Their checkers even know the names of my children!) However, their produce leaves something to be desired.
Resturants- If you want a great breakfast, you can't beat the Gold Miner's Cafe! For anything else, you need to be more specific. We have a good number of Chinese and Mexican food resturants a few Thai and even a couple of French resturants. We also have the usual array of chain establishments (Chili's, Chevy's, IHOP, Stuart Andersons Black Angus etc.) and of course all of the fast food joints as well.
Lowest gas prices- Arco!
Best Folsom tradition- My personal favorite is the "concert in the park" series every Friday evening during the summer! Bring a picnic and some wine and sit back and enjoy! The lighting of the town Christmas Tree and luminaries is a close second.
Best ice cream- Tasty Time!
I don't get out to the bars or nightlife scene often and since I have children, my opinion of best park would probablly be very different than your's. Anyway, I hope you have a safe and unstressful move (is that possible?) and, again, welcome to Folsom!

Very funny! Sorry, but I think I'll withdraw this name from the list - I think y'all are pretty biased!
