I am running a nice gaming computer (for it's time) and it has Windows XP installed.    Never been a fan of video gaming and  my Son used the computer while he was living at home.    Microsoft is not supporting XP but I continue to use the program.    XP was a great program for Microsoft especially if you compare to Windows 95 and 98 years earlier.

I still have an XP-enabled PC, but it's sitting in the pile of things to be taken apart & discarded.

I'm using my XP computer right now.

I remember all of the warnings about hackings and viruses after support ended. Hasn't happened....yet.

Lots of people still use XP - hospitals (lots of them), banks, kiosks, cash registers, the list goes on and on. And just because MSFT stopping supporting XP doesn't mean an immediate flood of hackers but over time the lack of updates and security releases will take its toll.

My company continued to use the program for controls on equipment.    Last week I noticed a monitor at a major business still using XP Professional.

Last week I  made an attempt to put some Images from PC on to an ipad.       It is easy to take an image from ipad to a PC.......just connect to a PC.   There is a problem moving pictures from PC to ipad.        Itunes  on PC must be used to transfer the pictures to the ipad but the XP compatible Itunes does not have the proper function to transfer.       A minimum of windows 7 itunes must be used.

Windows XP is great.     My computer still works well with chrome.      But plan on updating to a Microsoft Surface Pro which runs PC software.
