The city website lists "Records Retention Program" which means the city will be getting rid of records according to Senate Bill 742 "to provide efficient mangement" of city records on January 6, 2003. This means any and all records can or will be destroyed except for "title to real property, or liens, court records, records less than 2 years old, records required ro be kept by statute, or minutes, ordinances, or resolutions of the legislative body or of a city board or commission." If you have questions about any particular thing not listed above you had better act fast, get to the city clerk's office and get copies!!!
