We have also been trying to find a restaurant in Folsom that is open on Christmas Day. I've been calling and so far:
CLOSED = Olive Garden, Cattlemens, Land Ocean, Viscontis, Fats, Hop Singh...

The Sizzler on Madison is open. I saw the sign. But granted it's not Folsom.

Wow, now I've heard it all. SIzzler for Christmas... That has got to be a classic night out with the family to remember...
I applaud those businesses deciding to shut their doors and let their employees stay home. Good for them.
Time to go grocery shopping people.

Lotus 8 was open on Christmas and was PACKED! Food was great (as usual) and everyone was fairly calm considering how busy the place was. Wait times were 40 minutes at some points. I believe Folsom Palace was also open.

We had beef stew at home & it was delicious. However, we did go out the next night to a local steakhouse & that was awesome.
