Not sure why this was moved to the EDH forum, as it is something that impacts folks from all over northern CA. The Forest Service is/will soon be undertaking this same effort throughout the state and country. IMO, sticking this in the seldom visited EDH forum has the effect of stifling the discussion.

I agree, I started it, I live in Folsom, this should be in the General section. It's not a neighborhood specific issue.
