Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee Announces 2008 Slate of Endorsements

RANCHO CORDOVA – October 14, 2008: The Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee (RanchoPAC) announced today its slate of endorsed candidates for competitive races involving the State Assembly and several special districts.

“RanchoPAC is proud to put forth this slate of qualified candidates for local residents to consider this election season,” said Tim Murphy, Chairman of the RanchoPAC Board. “We believe these candidates are the ones who will not only champion the interests of business in their decision-making, but will also work tirelessly to enhance the quality of life for all residents of Rancho Cordova.”

The endorsed candidates are:

10th Assembly District
Jack Sieglock

SMUD Board, Ward 2
Mark Bahouth

Folsom Cordova Unified School District Board of Directors (2)
Conrade Mayer
Teresa Stanley

Cordova Recreation and Park District (2)
Rick Sloan
David LaPierre

RanchoPAC has also taken the following positions on the following state ballot propositions:

Proposition 2 (Treatment of Farm Animals) – OPPOSE

Proposition 3 (Children’s Hospital Bond) – SUPPORT

Proposition 12 (Veteran’s Bond) – SUPPORT
