Well, as we approach the play-offs, I was just reviewing my picks. Pretty solid over all, but I totally missed on Pitt, Arizona, and Dallas It was a very entertaining season. Unfortunately, it's looking like a NE/Seattle superbowl. Ugh.
So here are my wildcard picks:
AFC Wildcard:
Pittsburgh v. Baltimore
Key will be big Ben's ability to exploit the Ravens secondary. Without Bell in the lineup, look for Brown to put up ridiculous numbers. Can the Raven's stop the Steeler's one dimentional attack? Unlikely. But it should still be a fun game to watch. Pitt wins.
Cinci v Indy
The only chance Cinci has is to repeatedly give the ball to Hill, and try to keep Dalton from doing too much. If, and it's a big if, they can burn clock and score a few points without relying on Dalton's arm, they MAY have a shot... Oh, who are we kidding? Indy wins.
NFC WIldcard:
Arizona v. Carolina.
Gotta go with Carolina. With their mobile quarterback and Arizona's lack of quarterback, it's that position being the deciding factor. Sad for the Cards, they made a heck of a run.
Dallas v Detroit
The way Murray, Bryant and Romo are playing, it's hard to imagine Detroit winning. Their only chance is a fortuitous spate of turnovers, and Romo going classic Romo. Not gonna happen despite my ROmo voodoo doll.
