 I went there this week. This place is a hidden gem. The food & service were outstanding. They have the best lamb shish kabobs in all of Sacramento, and their afghan food, while a little different for me, was adventurous & delicious as well,at least most of it was. I did take a bite of everything. The Ashak, yum...

I went there a few years ago. I think the food was pretty good but I recall it being more expensive than I would have guessed. Maybe I'll try it again. 

 

I have been going to the place off Sunrise. Not sure if it's any cheaper or better; but it's always been good for me.

 

Anyway, just another choice if you're interested.

I also tried Saffron once off Bidwell -- it was pretty decent too I think.

I like Saffron also, but I believe that is considered Persian. Different spices

 

Thanks, I'll check out the other place you mentioned, looks Persian too.
