Looks like the Arena will be needing a new sponsorship...

Wow what a shock. You would have thought that the arena owners (or whoever made the deal with that bogus company) would have had the fore-sight to know that a company based on fraudulent jewelry probably isn't going to be the best long term investment.
Maybe they were just desperate to do a deal at that time.

Lasted about as long as those toning rocker-bottom shoes. Anybody remember "earth" shoes?

Not shocked except at the lack of foresight, as Nomad pointed out.

I am not surprised about Power Balance at all.
But Earth Shoes- They are still around and doing quite well ---- http://www.zappos.co...alesStyle/desc/
Another great day in the adventure of exploration and sight.

Wow, I had no idea they were still making them. Those are a lot better looking than the ones from the '70s. Still wouldn't buy them. I just don't think it's a good idea to start messing with your gait.
Now, Zappos.com Pavilion would have been a smarter choice. Even if shoe fads like Vibrams, rocker bottoms, come and go, people always need shoes.

This had to be the dumbest sponsorship I've ever seen for a venue. Maybe they should hit up Centerfolds next....

And Darth you are probably right on both. MBA strike certainly didn't help. Maybe they should have wrapped a few of those "power" bands around the NBA owners and players.

The world is full of idiots. And who was it that said "A fool and his money are soon parted"?It's hilarious that people believed a cheesy bracelet would give them any powers whatsoever, the only thing it did was make their wallets slightly lighter.

They got it right. Since the dawn of commerce, there are those shysters that will sell junk claiming miraculous properties and the masses of gullible suckers will buy their crap.
How's that other saying go "Buyer Beware"?
When the majority of a marketing campaign is "customer testimonials", I smell a scam and don't waste my money.

You guys still don't get it....it was the round, little, metallic looking, magnetic sticker that was embedded In the bracelet that was the REAL magic (bean or potion or triangle or crystal or whatever)..............It's hilarious that people believed a cheesy bracelet would give them any powers whatsoever, the only thing it did was make their wallets slightly lighter.
