My husband and I bought a refurbished lawn mower a year or so ago from Home Depot and have been very happy with it. It was in great condition and about half the price of new. I don't know if they are still selling them but it might be worth a phone call!

I have a 4 or 5 year old craftsman self -propelled that I replaced this year because it was taking several pulls to start it - probably just needs alittle TLC. You can have it if you want it....
