3rd ANNUAL “TOAST TO EDUCATION” FUNDRAISER MAY 19
TO RAISE NEEDED FUNDS FOR LOCAL SCHOOLS

EL DORADO HILLS, CA – The public is invited to enjoy a festive evening while supporting quality education in El Dorado County! On Saturday evening, May 19, the Buckeye Education Foundation will hold its annual “Toast to Education,” a unique fundraising event at the Blackstone Clubhouse, 2020 Clubview Drive in El Dorado Hills.

The evening will feature wines from local vintners, food from Mikuni, Sienna, Kinnee O’Reilly and The Hub restaurants, and music from the El Dorado County Music Educators Project as well as popular Sacramento dance band Super Huey, a Huey Lewis tribute band. An auction hosted by CBS Channel 13’s Dave Bender will include highlighted items such as a one-week stay at Princeville Resort in Kauai, a limo and wine tasting tour, a vacation package to Northstar-at-Tahoe and three-night golf package at Old Greenwood.

WHEN: Saturday night, May 19th, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

WHERE: Blackstone Community Clubhouse, 2020 Clubview Drive, off Latrobe Road in El Dorado Hills, CA.

WHY: “Toast to Education” is the biggest fundraising event of the year for the Foundation, which supports the Buckeye Union School District’s seven schools, located in El Dorado Hills, Cameron Park and Shingle Springs. Tickets are available at $75 per person and can be purchased online at www.buckeyefoundation.org or at any of the school campuses.

Formed in 2009, the Buckeye Education Foundation is a 501©(3) non-profit collaboration of parents, educators and community leaders combating inadequate funding for schools at the state level by providing supplemental funding to the five elementary schools and two middle schools within the Buckeye Union School District in El Dorado County, California. The district-wide Foundation’s charter is to enhance the education of all K-8 students in the Buckeye Union School District; to fund programs that the District is unable to fund; and to provide funds to assist the District with capital improvements and updated technology.
