Anyone else see this commercial yet? Very strange indeed. I don't know about you but when I think of Jaguar I think James Bond, 007. Not Stephen Hawking. Maybe not anymore though. I wonder who thought of this and whether or not they will have second thoughts about going in this direction. Just very strange.

Although I haven't seen anything regard Stephen Hawking and Jaguar, James Bond is an Aston Martin driver.  There have been a few Jaguars in the movies, but James Bond hasn't driven one.

All I know is that the F type is one sexy ride.  Quick poll: Do you pronounce it Jag-war or Jag-u-ar?

DougP, true on that but for whatever reason a Jag and Bond seem to also have a connection in my mind. Not sure why. Either way Hawking is not my pick for suave and cool. Maybe it's just me.
Average Joe...I used to say Jag war but now it's definitely Jag u ar lol.

I don't get that commercial. Not only could he not drive a Jaguar (or any car), he couldn't fit in it either with his chair.

Realistically he should be doing ads for Mercedes cargo wagons or vans or something like that.

Totally agree, Dave. Just a weird/dumb commercial. Even a little creepy.
