Some of you long time members remember MyFolsom member and moderator Davburr. That was Dave Burrell.

I just sold Dave's house and he is heading to Georgia.

With the kids grown and out of the house, the fact that is either working from home or flying somewhere, and his in-laws in Georgia, he decided to sell and move.

Another factor; price. I sold his house for $580k, and he is likely to buy a nice house with acreage in Georgia for about half that.

Anyway, say goodby to our old friend. We may have an opportunity to buy him a beer next Friday or Saturday night before he leaves.

Thanks Dave for always being a supporter of myfolsom, and for trusting me to sell your home.

Dave, sorry to see you go, but I understand. Thanks for everything you did to help the myfolsom.com community and Folsom.

keep in touch and check in once in awhile.

We are losing a Folsom legend!  A beer sounds good to send them on with a fond farewell!

Best wishes in your new locale, Davburr.  Have some chicken & waffles for me at Gladys Knight's and take a stroll through Piedmont Park.  I'm pretty sure they have the Internet in the Peach State, too, so check in and let us know how you are doing.

OMG! I had a bad moment there when I thought this was a message of Dave passing away! So glad that it is really a farewell and safe journey kind of post. Best wishes Dave!

It's never goodbye, it's until we meet again. Dave is one of the nicest guys in our town and a dear friend. Truly this is our loss but it's all for good. Onward and upward!

Hi!

Many thanks for all the kind words, I really appreciate it.

Myfolsom.com was my first connection to Folsom and learning all about the town and it's where I met some really great friends such as you all ☺️

I'm really going to miss Folsom, never thought I'd leave but I'm looking forward to new adventures in Georgia.

I'll be back in Folsom regularly. I travel for my job and my daughter still lives here.

Speaking of which I'll be back in Folsom next weekend to do my final move out. Putting everything into storage for now until we buy a place.

Will be saying goodbyes and enjoying a few beers at Doyle's Pub on Saturday night March 11th, if you have time stop by and say hi.

Take care and take care of Folsom for me heh

Dave
