El Puerto is located in an old strip mall on Folsom Blvd. By the looks of it you would not think much of dining there but it is worth the trip inside. A few booths and tables in the front and a second dining room in the back provides plenty of seating. We have gone with larger groups and been able to be seated right away. No long waits like I have experienced going to Chilis or one of the other restaurants in Rancho.
The food is authentic and they provide large portion sizes. The few times I've been everyone has been pleased with the food. To top it all off the servers have been friendly and the food inexpensive.
