NATO: Europe's only firewall against Russian aggression

Trump Derides NATO as ‘Obsolete.’       :CRAZYLOCO:

Baltic Nations See It Much Differently.

https://www.nytimes....ia-baltics.html

Only in the last quarter-century has Latvia been able to reclaim its nationhood, and only in the last decade has it felt secure in that claim.

The security came from one thing: joining NATO, an alliance of nations forged after the fires of World War II and expanded during the Cold War as a buffer against Soviet aggression.

Now, with Russia once again on the prowl, that alliance seems to be at risk in ways that were virtually inconceivable when Latvia joined in 2004.

No thanks, and my prayers are not to the socialist gods that made Sweden the rape capital of northern europe....

And I once was a liberal democrat in my early 20's, then I realized they wanted my guns, despised hunting, wanted way too much of my income in taxes, gave away my income that they stole from me to turds and loafers in exchange for voting for them, worked against me, excluded me ( I am white) in ever getting a scholarship, financial aid, grants, or a break on tuition for school, college....... Thus the 6.5 years in college while working swings and graveyards 24 to 48 hours a week....  Hated America, hated our military, hated our police, and supported the AFL_CIO Teamsters that I worked for at the time who were the most vile and violent people I ever had the "pleasure" of working for and with.....!  Such arseholes they were....!   And cheese, I'll buy my own, thanks......!  Thanks but no thanks Tio Vinny, been there, done that, not cool....!  Not at all....!  Chris

The only reason Nato countries "feel safe" is because we foot the bill for their defense. They are being pushed to contribute 2% of their GDP to defense spending. 2%!!  Yeah, they have been getting a free ride for a loooong time.

Utter Moron!       :BOO:    :loco:     :newyear:

He's destroying the American way of life,

Guess he never read "How to Win Friends and Influence People."

Trump opens NATO summit with blistering criticism of Germany, labels allies 'delinquent'

https://www.cnn.com/...2018/index.html

Trump's provocative comments -- particularly those aimed at Germany -- at the outset of the NATO summit are sure to amplify the sense of unease among the United States' closest European allies. Their concerns had already set in ahead of Trump's arrival on the continent, following weeks during which the US President has increasingly and vociferously aired out his grievances against many of them.

How are Trump's comments about Germany destroying the American way of life?  I hardly think sticking up for American tax payers is destroying anything but the cash cow that has been expected from from other countries, for as long as I can remember. But I remember, you think we should BUY our friends, right?

You must be rich, because I can't think of a post where you criticized, at any point, any form of rip off or over taxation put on Americans.

When are you going to buy my family dinner?  Oh, don't bother with being present, just send me a check for a couple hundred dollars....you're such a nice guy and have tons of money.  :letseat:

Totally embarrassing to have this pig of a man representing our country!

I can see in report card from kindergarten: "Doesn't play well with others!"

Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer brand Trump’s Nato comments an ‘embarrassment’

'President Trump’s brazen insults and denigration of one of America’s most steadfast allies, Germany, is an embarrassment,' the joint statement reads

Working really hard there, aren't you? But I don't see you changing any minds here.

Why do you think that is?

Well, looky here!

Seems the Republican controlled Senate agrees with old Uncle Vinny on this one!     :old:      :fineprint:

And yet the ever more deviant Turnip @$$-kissers continue to their rag-tag army march into the swamp of stupidity.

Keep it up The Blue Wave is a-coming!     :joker:

Senate takes swipe at Trump with pro-NATO vote

https://www.cnn.com/...rump/index.html

The Senate took a bipartisan swipe at President Donald Trump on Tuesday when it overwhelmingly approved a motion

of support for NATO.

The 97-2 vote reflects the broad concerns on Capitol Hill over Trump's seeming ambivalence about the alliance.

What a cry-baby!

Trump tweets he'd 'shut down' government
if Democrats don't fund US-Mexico wall

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/07/29/trump-tweets-hed-shut-down-government-if-democrats-dont-fund-us-mexico-wall.html

A recent House bill would devote $5 billion to a southern border wall, but its passage in the Senate, where it would need the support of Democrats to reach the required 60-vote threshold, remains a longshot.

They wont shut it down...it shows all of us makers just how little we need them.  Government produces NOTHING.  It has grown from a servant to the master of its governed people. It needs to be cut in half at a minimum   I suppose it will be when thedebt finally comes due and there is no money to pay for "essential" services.

Tio Vinny, you fall into his trap everytime you react to an outrageous statement.   This is called negotiation tactics, NY style, hardball, take no prisoners, he brings you way past your comfort point, to the point of anger and outrage, only to bring you back to near there, not halfway but at least you feel you got something........   Then you feel good and like you "won".   He has played you progressives, liberals, and the liberal MSM for over two years now and you still don't see it.   I actually feel bad here trying to give you a hint and some help.  You are being played so handedly and masterfully by your so called "Orange Buffoon".    And another lesson from history, never, ever, underestimate your enemy and think him stupid.  He will kill you in your sleep at his time and place of choice.  Wake up....!   But, actually, please carry on as usual....   MAGA...!   Chris

More like crybaby bullying combo.

Oh, trying to get into the country illegally, here I'll take your baby away from you.

Mean, cruel. Not that smart.
