Calif has been mismanaged by you Lib clowns for decades. I'll listen to Trump before I listen to you dopes babble on about "climate change is causing all the fires". Such nonsense. Oh, and the fact that you get your news and information from the SF Chronicle tells me everything I need to know about you. And it's not good, I'm sorry to say.

That is indeed stupid. However, CA has grossly mismanaged its water for decades. One has nothing to do with the other. both are true...

Joe, I agree with you on our water policy. It has to change but Big Ag will resist changes to the max. There is no way that 70-80% of California water should be going to agriculture. Growing rice, cotton, almonds and other crops in California is not good water policy but it makes lots of money for the big agriculture corporations.
On the other hand, saying that our flawed water policy is responsible for the wildfires is just STUPID!

Wouldn't want facts to get in the way of your (and your President's) stupidity!

Climate IS changing. However, it has little to no bearing on our fires. Forestry mismanagement, encroachment of development and historiclly normal cycles of burn/flood repeat are the factors.
The USGS study shows wildfires are actually declining in CA
The inaccurate hysteria by Brown and the LAT help no one.
Cal Berkeley agrees:
“National parks and other protected areas clearly provide an important function in removing carbon from the atmosphere and storing it,” said Battles. “But we also know from previous research that a century of fire suppression has contributed to a potentially unsustainable buildup of vegetation. This buildup provides abundant fuel for fires that contribute to carbon emissions.”

Add Adam Schiff to the idiots. He claims that Trump and lack of a science adviser is to blame (along with climate change). He ignores the above evidence and that of Cal Fire who also claim 80 years of forestry mismanagement contribute.
