I have this weird hunch that Kevin is going to be the puppet of the maloofs....

Not saying that's a bad thing...but, I think he's got one goal and only one goal and that is get the arena deal done.

No one cares less about sports than me*, but I wouldn't hate having a better venue for concerts than Arco Arena...

*unless UFC and competative eating count as 'sports'.

OK, just because he's a basketball player - it doesn't make him a puppet. Besides, what's bad about getting an arena deal done? You make it sound like it's a bad thing to have a free arena, paid for by someone other than taxpayers. It's hard to not rally around it. Some people can just never be happy.

I don't hang much with gay ard arty folks and all the homeless people wandering around are not too cool. I guess there is nothing down there that I can't find in folsom...and parking is a lot cheaper too.

Nope you got me wrong here...but, to me it just sounds too fishy...

Am not against the arena...even if it is not free. It won't be free - trust me on that.

Call me kook, unhappy or whatever - but, I have a strong feelin that Kev was coaxed to join the race for one and only one reason...

And again, am not saying that's a bad thing...'coz Fargo is a do nuthin kinda gal to begin with.

Like I said, just an observation

Tom Sullivan on one of his shows a few years back was just aghast that no one "thinks big" when it comes to Sac...

I'm a boater and love going up and down the river... but only one side of it is developed...

The guy who developed the LaRivage, who was the same guy that developed the Lake Natoma Inn spent 10 years to get that project going...

West Sac should have years ago been developed across from the Sacramento.. but because of so many layers of "guv-ment" and enviro wackos... it just stays the way it is...

Now we see a high rise across the river... and I wonder what happened to that wonderful idea of a water channel going through that "railyard" ala San Antonio...just making a little diversion of water through it...

I love the down town area in Sac now... it's a hot real estate market...

BTW... have any of you folks ever taken a trip down there on the 2nd Saturdays for their "Art Walks"...? man that is a blast...

I went on the 2nd Sat of May and it's becoming a really big thing down there...

I love the Sacramento area... as a Bay Area transplant I thought the Bay Area was so superior and at times I wondered why I moved here.. but after you've been here for a while... it is home to me...

and it's a shame that the politics of Sacramento is just so stinking "socialist" with all of their weird mandates... wasn't it Sacramento that wanted to change the term "manhole cover"...?

I'll be dead by the time Sac gets it's sh** together... and they should vote in KJ... I think Fargo is being real smarmy with this "re-investigation" jive...

but what do I know...

That's cause the other side is a rocket factory, or an airport, or a swamp. The first two are useful.
