ATTENTION, friends & family! Some of you may know we've  [Filmmaker/Producer: Matt Gray]  been hard at work on a screenplay & treatment for the movie BULLDOGS, to tell the story of the 2010 State Champion Folsom High School football team. We have submitted a pitch to a short film contest and are asking for your vote! Doing a short film will help us push the pitch to financiers and hopefully bring the story to the big screen. I mean, if De La Salle can get a movie, so can we, right? Most of you know that my documentary series BULLDOGS can be seen for free on YouTube already--but if we're going to get our boys in blue on the big screen, let's start by clicking this link and voting YES! Thank you in advance for your support!

Folsom Forum Folks:  Click on the link to see one of videos Matt created and then vote.    Thanks.

The year 2010 was a great season for the Folsom football athletes, coaches, and fans.    Surely very intrinsic triumph and victory for the ones who participated.

There is a risk about letting a Hollywood director taking the memories of the season and modifying the actual events for the sake of "entertainment".   The risk is some individual participants might be put in a different light or the actual events and things said could be changed.

Could the Folsom coaches and Folsom parents just make a high quality DVD of the actual events and highlight the learning lesson of football and what is possible with hard work?   The DVD could really be used as a tool to promote youth football.

Tyto,

the season and the several years of youth (pre-high school) football was indeed chronicled by the film-maker, Matt Gray.  The result, "Bulldogs:The Series" is a 7 DVD package that shows how the 2010 season began and proceeded through its final culmination, the D2 championship game in Socal with Folsom defeating Serra (Gardena), 48-20.  Watch to video on the link and then vote to support those DVDs being compiled into a feature film of that cinderella season.
