Ever since Monday, I have been unable to get to MyFolsom.com. Browser just times out.  This happens both from the Intel network and my home AT&T service.  At work, I just get the generic proxy network error warning.  At home, I eventually am brought to some type of error page that says to contact John.

BTW, I did notice last Friday that the current MyFolsom front page is now displayed on the corporate proxy.

Is anyone else having strange things happen to postings and viewing the site?  I've been trying to post on various topics and it boots me off.

Can you be more specific?

I've posted on a couple of things and I see some others have to. What were you trying to do and where?

When I tried to post on Oldschooler's thread it kicked me off twice and wouldn't do anything when I hit the "post" button.  It worked on the third try.

When I tried to sign out it said there was a broken link, yet it showed I was still signed in the next time I tried to view the posts.

There was a post yesterday about rabies vaccinations and dog licenses that no longer shows up when viewing the "Open" posts.

Hi IdRequired - I had the same thing, a disappearing post.  It was in a thread about Theodore Judah.  I guess sometimes technology fails us.  If I was being paranoid I would think someone was out to get me, but the site owner had a posting disappear too.

What's strange about that is it's still out there somewhere as kind of like a ghost page, for lack of a better term to describe it.  A couple times yesterday when I tried to look at the forums on myfolsom your topic would be back but it was like it was stuck in time because none of the new topics were there.

No paranoia here.  Just thought Steve would like to know in case it wasn't a problem unique to me.

I guess this is my welcome to the world of web forum ownership. I sent a note to our tech support folks. I hope we can resolve it quickly. The forum appears fine to me.

I just got a reply from our tech folks. They were moving some stuff around on servers and believe that's what caused the problems. He believes all is well now.

Please tell me if that's not correct.
