Nah, it all depends on what you like. Folsom is a great town, no doubt. EDH just has different advantages and disadvantages. Certainly, neither place is right for everybody. You makes your choices and you pays your money.
The key for people moving to ANY area, in my opinion, is to make sure that the particular set of compromises represented by the community you're looking at are the type that align with your own priorities.

What a rude thing to say!! Seems like a person who made that comment must be bitter and angry about his lot in life to make him spew such hatred.
I thought everyone was welcome on MyFolsom.com - rich or poor, Democrat or Republican. Civility transcends socio-economic status! But of course, some people feel free to say rude things in cyberspace they'd never dare say in person because of the anonymity.
There's no need to be mean to someone just b/c they're better off than you are and it comes across as insecure & immature. Get a grip!

Agree, totally uncalled for. Very rude!

what's you point Guest1971? Are you moving from Serrano? Did you want a good bye party or just lettin' off some steam?

I think we are missing the point here...
The Canadian Mafia has moved into the area!
Hide your mooses (or is it just moose?).

I think this is just an example of somebody who bought a house without doing research into what the costs, benefits and drawbacks of the area are. It's unfortunate for them that they are unhappy with their neighborhood, but their disappointment and lack of research doesn't make Serrano a "rip off".

And don't worry, the Canadian Mafia has no interest in Folsom. They prefer EDH

The Canadian's have a Mafia?
I always pictured them as sweet short little people in bright red clothes that really love horses.
LOL my perceptions have been shattered!!!
