Best things about being pregnant:
--You can eat more.
--People are nice to you and smile indulgently.
--You can look forward to a huge break from work, known as maternity leave. (Since the leave is, by definition, shared with a newborn baby, it often isn't as fun in actuality as it is in the imagining of it. Still, it is something to look forward to, much like the last day of school).

Unfortunately, and don't tell her this, but she isn't going to get any sleep for the next year or two! Unless you have one of those rare gems who can sleep through the night, your will be waking up every couple of hours. When the baby cries, someone will have to get up to check on him, pick him up, console, or feed.
You will become an expert in the art of faking sleep through those 4 am baby-crying sessions....oh wait, that was me.

Oooh Ooh...I have one of those gems!!! We are so very lucky! Dean is 3 months and sleeps 7-10 hours a night!!!

Our first one did the same. Having two is so different! Little by little, though, we are getting more sleep.
