What are the pros & cons of living in ARCN?

We are thinking about moving there. It does seem to be a bit far from Hwy 50.

All of your thoughts are greatly appreciated!

It's hard to get anywhere else in Folsom, especially during commute times. Maybe after the new bridge is built, it will be better. They get a little cliqueish over there, sports teams are all populated from that side of the river, etc.

My wife and I have been in ARCN since October...and love it. In our experience, the lack of traffic, kids playing in the street (near the street), excellent landscaping and yard upkeep, lack of noise and otherwise peaceful environ, make it a great place to live thus far.

Don't have any cons as of yet. I commute to midtown Sac, most days by light rail out of the Sutter St. station and love it. I actually look forward to the 45 minute ride to and from work, for the free reading time it offers me. Not having much time to read otherwise, I'm almost through my fifth book since December. Now I'm driving two days a week to play soccer in Sac, since the last trains out of Sac bound for Folsom leave in the 6 o'clock hour! Traffic out to 50 is a piece of cake, and you'd soon get used to knowing the best times to get on the freeway. Since the carpool lane ends at Sunrise, so to does most of the traffic going west-bound.

Hope this helps... I highly recommend the area...
