Don't know whats going on but they kept us locked inside Target for about 30 minutes while officers with the dog went through the store.

on Blue Ravine around 6:25 PM on my police scanner.

this report says he was on the roof of Target and then went into a home on School street and that's where the shots were fired. YIKES!

jeez louise, He got into a house fast if the coppers were chasing him. I wonder if the residents were home? scary stuff, armed robbery and home intrusion. Hope the residents and cops are ok.

FOLSOM (CBS13) – A suspect was eventually shot and killed after an attempted bank robbery in Folsom early Tuesday evening.
The robbery attempt occurred at 5:11 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank on 1113 East Bidwell St.
The suspect reportedly fled onto the roof of a Target store across the street from the bank and then tried to escape into neighborhood yards before ending up inside a home in the 1300 block of School Road occupied by two adults and two children.
Shots were reportedly fired inside the home. CBS13 Nick Janes reported that the suspect was killed.
Folsom Police Sgt. Jason Browning confirmed the officer-involved shooting but didn’t provide any other details.

Well, it is sad the bad guy felt money was worth dying for. It is also sad that a life was lost.
But in the end I am grateful the coppers are all going to go home some time tonight ( If anything like the Army, they will be signing forms for a long time tonight).
And some people say nothing ever happens in Folsom. Well, I think that makes our coppers pretty danged good. They "never" have anything happen, but when it does they sure do handle themselves quite well.
