The official argues that most executive branch staffers are "working to insulate their operations from his whims," as Mr. Trump's "impulsiveness results in half-baked, ill-informed and occasionally reckless decisions that have to be walked back."

 

The op-ed quotes another unnamed official as saying that "there is literally no telling whether he might change his mind from one minute to the next."

 

The author also criticizes the president's friendliness towards autocrats and dictators such as Russian President Vladimir Putin. 

 

The official says there some "early whispers within the cabinet" of the 25th Amendment — which provides a mechanism for replacing a president who is incapacitated — but "no one wanted to precipitate a constitutional crisis."

TOTAL HOAX:  The New York Times op-ed allegedly authored by an anti-Trump senior official within the Trump administration is a total hoax, according to conservative filmmaker and author Dinesh D'Souza.
 
"Just read the anonymous NYT article and its blindingly obvious its an in-house product written not by any Trump official but by a professional writer at the NYT itself. This is the very definition of Fake News", D'Souza tweeted Wednesday. Story below. Nice try, NYT... what a bunch of frauds and liars. You're BUSTED!!! Another Trump success!!

Veteran journalist Bob Woodward said Monday in an exclusive interview on NBC News' "Today" that President Donald Trump is "detached" from reality and jeopardizes American national security.       

 

"I've never seen an instance when the president is so detached from the reality of what's going on," Woodward said.

 

Trump responded within an hour, calling the author a "liar" and a political "operative" for Democrats.

 

 

And yet, unbelievably, people right here in River City continue to sing his praises!                        
I say "people" but for at least on poster, I think we got us a real live Russian bot or troll.
