Matthew 10:14-15: If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town. I tell you the truth, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town.
However, inhospitality was not the only sin

Yeah, I gotta agree with Farley on this one. Gay people always throw the best parties!

gotta go with c_vanderveen on this. He is correct.
Some of you are manipulating the Bible to support your behavoir. It doesn't work that way.

Manipulating the Bible to support your behavior is a time-honored tradition among many groups! To say Gay's can't use it to support their political beliefs is like saying the politicians can't use it to support their wars! I mean, where do you draw the line of acceptable manipulation of some dead guys fiction?

And exactly how do you know what our behavior is? Have you ever witnessed, participated, or heard anything about my behavior? It is you who are manipulating the Bible by assuming you know what our behavior is.

I don't want to go there. What I should have said is that c_v... is correct about his reference to the Bible on homosexual behavior.
You are correct I have never seen anyone on this board participate in homosexual acts and I never want to. However some of you infer that you are gay (gay this, gay that, gay here, gay there, here a gay, there a gay, everywhere a gay gay.
My mistake. I didn't know they were just saying they were happy. I glad so many of them are happy. So then this is National Happy History Month?
It is just that I enjoy this board and try to make light of some things - some things get to me and I get a little headstrong. I am sic and tired of seeing so much writing about this "happy" stuff.
And I guess the bottom line is that I am just sad because I was mistaken and "National Ford F-250 Super Duty Appreciation Month" was last month and I missed it.

Hey, I just got an email here at work that October is National Work/Family month. How can it be Gay History Month AND National Work/Family month? I guess you can announce a month to be anything you want?
So I hereby declare October to be "National Ford F-250 Super Duty Appreciation Month"

That is exactly what Gay Appreciation Month is all about....to remind the world that we all share the earth together. No one says you have to read about gays; that is your choice. But gays do live in Folsom, and throughout the world and are apart of the society in which you live.

This week's Time Magazine has a cover story about "Gay Teens". One thing I thought may be of interest to Swmr and other students is there are apparently some organizations that offer college scholarships to gay students. I believe FHS has a program this week on Getting Ready For College, and given the enormous costs of higher education, it may be an avenue of funding that may be helpful for those qualifying.
