The CA State Fair will now take place July 14 - August 1. Not sure why they are doing this but I would venture to guess it has to do with the earlier school year....

I think that's great. I always hated that the kids' day was on Tuesdays during school.

I think this will help state fair attendance. I know we didn't make the effort to go last year because the fair started after school did.

The Change is good and is definitely due to the fact that most schools are starting earlier. It will surely help the week day attendance.

Yes, it's never hot enough at the fair in September.
