Great job. Next task - the Death Ride! You've got a year to train for it biggrin.gif

...plus those other 3 miles, of course. Congratulations! That's a really good time. Double it and you'll be close to my Death Ride time. BTW, the Death Ride is truly awesome, in many ways.

I've got a good friend that has done the "Death Ride" a few times. My only personal experience with the "Death Ride" is when I unfortunately plan a backpacking trip the same weekend as the ride and I get caught up in the temporary road closures trying to drive to the trailhead.
I would rather be Backpacking

Congratulations Chris. If you want to do a supported Century the Wildflower out of Chico is outstanding. It is put on by Chico Velo and has great support and is a beautiful ride. It's also good training for long rides later in the year (it happens in late March or early April). My personal favorite is the one put on by the club I belonged to for 15 years, the Wine Country Century out of Santa Rosa. It's the first Saturday in May every year.
Keep it up and Double Centuries are in your future. tongue.gif

The Davis Foxy Fall Century is well supported and awesome as well.

One of the best supported rides in the area imo....
