Yet another school shooting. I wonder how the kid got a gun.

We've got our own local shooting going on right now.   It started in the Arden/Howe area and now they are looking for a Hispanic male & heavy female up in the Auburn area.  Placer High is currently on lockdown.  They were driving a Red F150 pickup truck they carjacked.  He's shot a deputy and at least one other person so far.  If you are up in Auburn, stay inside until they get these people.

The kid got the gun because the NRA makes it so easy for the mentally unstable to get guns.

They oppose background checks and mental screening.

You're so mis-informed it's a joke.

The gun used in the shooting has been traced to Fryberg's father, a law enforcement source with knowledge of the investigation told CNN. It is a "high capacity" weapon but did not have an extended magazine, the source said on condition of anonymity.

That statement is insane.

So now, in addition to the Washington school shooter who brought his father's gun to school, we have a 4 year old who took to school a loaded gun that he got from a parent or other relative.
This is the point I always make about guns. Pro-gun people are not realistic about the stupidity of people. For every Chris v, who does sound very responsible about his guns, there is an idiot who leaves a loaded gun where a 4 year old or a ticked-off hormone-fueled high school freshman can pick it up and slip it in his backpack. I don't like being at the mercy of other people's idiocy.

Gov. Chris Christie said today that we can't trust people to quarantine themselves; we have to mandate it. If we can't trust people with a potentially deadly disease, why do we trust them with deadly weapons?

I oppose selling knives to housewives. They should only be sold to women professional positions who have the mental capacity to know how to properly cut filet mignon.

I also oppose anyone being allowed to do animal controls jobs... No one should be trapping cats for castration purposes unless they work for a proper state owned castration shelter.

Im also deeply opposed to bolt guns being used to blow the brains out of cows for the purpose of consumption. They should only be used to scare the crud out of kids that j-walk or walk on the grass of public owned buildings.

Im oppsed to the opposition of feeding the homeless. Im also opposed to the big money companies that shoot hollywood films but dont ever pay a decent days wages to the non credited actors in the backgrounds.

Im opposed to the trickle down method of lay offs in big companies that ax worker bees first then take on seasonal temps constantly so that they dont have to pay benefits or insurance on them.

Im opposed to product recalls that recall a product on a radio show then find the owner liable if they didnt hear the news the product was recalled and their loved one dies.

I don't like being at the mercy of other people's idiocy.

Dont ever go to a restaurant.

Did you know that people with Hep C are allowed to work in restaurants? Did you also know it is common knowledge that PO cooks spit in the food they prepare?

Dont ever drive on a freeway

Did you know there are more incidents of Caltrans people having felonies than other state agencies? Imagine just how many felons are out to get you.

Dont eat peanut butter

Do you know how many people's uncleaned hands were involved in manufacturing that delightful protein paste? They may or may not be criminals but making a product for public consumption without wearing gloves is definitely the act of an idiot.

Dont trust a cross guard

Have you ever wondered what  the education requirement is to become a cross guard? In the state of California it is a 5th grader.

Parking lot attendants

Have you ever wondered if the parking lot attendant is there to watch your car and the lot; or there to report to a chop shop that your car is there?

Wall street

The legal scammers. 'Nough said about that.

Is it idiocy or misplaced trust?

All us "good people" are at the mercy of idiots. Heck, just look at what those idiots in Washington and Sacramento do. It certainly has far more impact on my life than a random psychopath.
