Vista Del Lago Varsity Football is playing on Friday, November 7th at Hughes Stadium. They are playing Christian Brothers for the Capital Athletic Conference Title. Please think about coming out and supporting our Folsom Athletes. A Vista win will give the team an upper hand in seating in the up coming play offs.

I remember when local games used to be exciting, until Folsom High became this machine that crushes everyone in the region. (That's a good thing.)

The Vista Del Lago Football Program is doing well and continue to improve each season (considering they really do not have a home field). Looking forward to the Division 3 Playoff schedule for next week. They beat a really good team with plenty of resources (Christian Brothers). Schedule is out. http://www.maxpreps....ivision-iii.htm

Max Preps recorded the winning 40 yard touchdown pass with 5 second left on the clock. The recording is under the video "Hail Mary". The video should be called "40 yard touchdown pass". Well thrown football to the target receiver which made a great catch.

Congrats to Vista! I watched their first three games this year and it wasn't looking so good. They seem to have really turned things around this season.
Speaking of no home field when the heck is Vista going to get some bleachers out there?
Its a shame there is a perfectly good field out there with lights and no seats to sit in. It amazes me with how much money is floating around that school district, that they have not been able to raise the appropriate funds after this many years:(

Its looks like both Folsom and Vista will be hosting the first round of the playoffs as they are both the higher seeded team in their respective division. So how will this work since they share the same field?

I know Folsom is playing on Saturday, so maybe Vista is playing on Friday.
As for the Vista field - now that Measure G passed, they are supposed to get the Vista field updated with bleachers.......

Vista Del Lago Football won their match up against American Canyon (42-28) in the first round of the CIF Division 3 play off. Vista made a great comeback taking over the lead in the 4th quarter. Going for it on 4th down at mid field was required in the comeback which paid off for the Eagles. The defense was great in the 4th quarter shutting down American Canyon. The Offensive line also played well. The next game will be on the road with very high scoring Oakdale.
