A couple updates:

- Johnny Rockets opened last week, went had great food, great service, will go back.

- Blue Nami is opening soon.

- Elliott Homes has confirmed Palladioprogress on their site http://elliotthomes....arketplace.html

- Whole Foods is confirmed for October per multiple sources (City of Folsom, Elliott Homes, Whole Foods themselves when I was up in the Roseville store this past weekend)

When I saw this report on China's ghost cities and malls, I couldn't help but think of the Palladio a a little.

I've seen the video's for China's ghost towns too. Weird....I heard also from the local Elliot relator, Kim Johnstone, that all the spaces for restaurants have been filled. I tried to get her to tell me what else was coming....maybe if I would've bought that new home from her I could've gotten the scoop, but I didn't, and she would not share the info.

Toby Keith's "I Love this Bar and Grill" just signed on. This place has great food and live music at the one in OKC's Bricktown. This should be a great addition and add some energy to Palladio as well.

Our city council should watch that video
- especially when considering development south of 50

Key words in the video that point to the cause of those ghost towns: over-developed

there's a place called Spaghetti Slingers that was slated to go in by the movie theater but I don't know what happened to it. Something is holding it up. Probably money!

Does anybody really buy books at these book stores? Why would you when you can get it cheaper online or downloaded to your Kindle?

Borders is basically bankrupt, seems the book store biz is a fading one.

I often buy books at Borders. With their free rewards card, I get coupons every week for 30 or 40% off. I prefer books rather than a download.

I DO order a lot of stuff online but also visit bookstores.

I buy books at Borders, too. Both for myself and my son.

So now does that mean another big empty space in the Home Depot center? Pretty disappointing.

The Sports Authority deal is already a signed deal.

And I'm told the italian restaurant is now being negotiated with Johnny Garlic's.
