On a serious note, scary and hopefully gets resolved quickly and peacefully.

Right now there is smoke coming out of the building so there must be a fire.

They've got the suspect out now. Inch of water on the ground. What a mess.

can you imagine how expensive that is going to be to clean up, just from the water damage alone? and the merchandise that is ruined? even the carpets may need to be pulled and the floors dried out. it could close that mall for a week. and all those employees out of work too.

Exactly what I thought. Smoke, fire, water damage to the buildings and products a month before Black Friday isn't good especially in this economy. Hopefully not as bad as feared.
Must have been frustrating for firefighters to standby watching smoke rise from the rooftop until the guy was arrested and area secure.

Looks like the fire just got a whole lot worse. Big plumes of black smoke pouring out.
still? I guess they are really waiting a long time to get the firefighters in there. maybe the police are being a little too careful. I can't imagine the fire has spread, but why would there be more smoke now? the greater the smoke damage, the longer its going to take for the mall to recover. What a strange thing. The guy sounded deranged.

The news is saying the same guy lit a fire in a local Wal-Mart last night.
too bad they didn't hold him a little longer last night. at least he's ambitious, moving up from WalMart to the Galleria in less than 24 hours.
what will they do with all that smoke and water damaged inventory? what a terrible waste. is it even possible for them to recover and reopen by Black Friday (the day after thanksgiving)?
