Okay, I am looking to do something different with my hair this week. Can anyone suggest a good place? I want a good color/highlight job and I will definitely need help with a style. I have no style. I am style'less!

I will not go to the Grand Salon on Blue Ravine, but other than that, I'm open to suggestions. Can you share your good experiences? Thanks!
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING MY GIRL.
We could not be doing this without you.
Much love and gratitude.

Try Jennifer at Salon Tapestry (located on Blue Ravine near Natoma Station next to Jack in the Box and Ettores)

or

Elisa at Brockway Hair Design (located in the Bel Air shopping center)

Good experiences at both places...

The best stylist in Folsom is Jill Cromwell at Maribou Spa and Salon in the new Raleys center at Natoma and Blue Ravine. I wouldn't go anywhere else... Her color is always perfect & she is super friendly.

Ditto Jill, but also try Debi Burke at Salon Dolce Vita (in shopping center across from Aquatic Center). I"ve been going to her for years and I love her! I am in my mid thirties and JUST started coloring my hair about 2 years ago - Debi was the first person I've ever let color my hair. I've had people walk up to me at my gym and ask me who does my color!

Thanks for posting this. I am new to the area and left the perfect stylist back home! It took me years to find her. Now these fantastic recommendations will certainly help me find a new one.

Anyone have any good manicurists? I don't wear acrylics. I just get my nails manicured and polished, but I am looking for someone who can do this so it lasts a reasonable amount of time - 3-5 days? Also, need a good pedicure. Summertime, my feet get very dry. Any referrals?

I LOVE my pedicurist. She's pricey ($40), but I think she's worth it. I don't have my nails done because they are a mess. :-( Her name is Cyndee and she work at The Beauty Center by the Raley's on E. Bidwell. Her number is 984-0355.

THE best facialist in town is Lauren Pacelli @ Aqua FX. She is fabulous!!!! I think she does men too.

Maribou has 4 facialists (all take male clients) and 1 manicurist. I know Cyndee at the Beauty Center. She is a fabulous Manicurist, but she is expecting her 2nd child (a girl this time!) and she doesn't work many hours.
Lori Tudesko at Sculptures is also a fabulous manicurist

I had one good experience at the Grand Salon and one HORRIBLE one, too. In fact, I have a free mani/pedi sitting there waiting for me that I refuse to use. They lost my business, and it's too bad for both of us because they are just a couple blocks from me and I like to get pampered.

I have had pretty good luck at Chez TJ's and they take atm and credit cards.....Salon dolce Vita makes you bring in cash or checks and I have noticed Maribou's prices are one of the most expensive in Folsom....I personally think $140 for cut and color is too much.

They closed down. California Board Life is there now.
