I am planning a date night for me and my husband and I can't think of anything in Folsom besides a movie. If anyone has any good date night ideas here in Folsom I would appreciate your input. This will be our first date night out since having our first baby, so I want to make the most of it. Thanks!
Have you checked into upcoming performances at Three Stages?

If you want to have a lot of fun, you should go Bowling at Folsom Lake Bowl, maybe have a drink or glass of wine. If you haven't heard the bowling center has been completely remodeled and on Friday & Saturday nights there is glow bowling with a DJ and it's a lot of fun! There is also a DJ in the Sports Bar on Friday & Saturday nights! Hope you guys have a great night out!

I've been to a few plays at small theaters in Sac like B Street and Big Idea. I always find them fun.
The drive-in in Rancho is a hoot.
Cougar football games.
FLB is fun.
No telling from the Internet, but if you're still young enough to ironically go to teenager places, mini golf (Rancho or Roseville) or gokarts.

Here are a few suggestions:
* Wine Lover's Walk (I just made that up) on Sutter: Start at the Wine Gallery, then down to the Wine Cellar and end at Wine Styles. Lots of shops and a few restaurants to visit along the way.
* Dinner and a play - Go to the Sutter St Theater to see 'Witness for the Prosecution', then to Chicago Fire for pizza in a great atmosphere
* Get Down Tonight (just made that one up too): Dance the night away to live music and dj's at Powerhouse, Scarlet's and Folsom Hotel.
* Visit Palladio - Tour the new Whole Foods, stop at their Bier Garden, dinner at Blunami Sushi or Johnny Rockets, grab some Pinkberry yogurt and stroll around and see the new art installations.
* Dinner, and a Show at Three Stages - They really do have diverse programming there, the theater is beautiful, and you can hit Land Ocean or Fat's for a nice meal before (Land Ocean also has late happy hour).
Just outside of town, Town Center area in Eldo Hills is a fun stroll with lots of dining options and usually live music at one of the restaurants.
And of course, there's always a movie!
Have fun, and let us know what you end up doing.

Hey Laura, Congrats on your first night out! Back when my eldest was a baby, we got paged at the restaurant (this was before everyone had cell phones), and had to leave in the middle of dinner to rescue our terrified and screaming child. I hope yours goes better!

We went to Tommy T's Comedy Club in Rancho a few weeks back with another couple and had a great time.
Oh ya, Vista Football tonight! My son is on the JV team. Go Vista Eagles!
I would tell you to come see my band play, but we are off this weekend. Will be at Jan's Lounge on Greenback soon.
Go out and support local music!
...just a few different suggestions than you already have.
