Great News

Regal to open IMAX in El Dorado Hills
July 24, 2008 – 4:40 pm
Part of the 31-theater deal between IMAX Corporation and Regal Entertainment Group, the Regal El Dorado Hills Stadium 14 will be receiving an IMAX theater. This would be the second IMAX theater in the Sacramento area; the first being the Esquire IMAX in downtown Sacto. The Sacramento Bee reports:

Unlike the Esquire Imax in downtown Sacramento, which often opens Hollywood blockbusters weeks after their initial release, the El Dorado Hills theater will get most films immediately.

That's great! There are many shows I would have loved taking Jessica too, but didn't bother due to not wanting to drive downtown and find parking, etc, etc. This is good news.
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING MY GIRL.
We could not be doing this without you.
Much love and gratitude.

Light rail stops right in front of it.

That is true. The winter before last, we took our kids on the lightrail down to IMAX to watch "The Polar Express". It was a ton of fun and the "train" ride really made the whole thing more exciting for the kids.

I just wish the light rail trip didn't take a hour to get there. Not to sound really picky but it would be nice if little ones could stay in their strollers and ride too.

I'm pretty sure our youngest was in his stroller when we rode the train downtown to watch The Polar Express. I may be mistaken, though.

When I go on light rail they make you take your little one out and you have to fold up your stroller.

That's cool that EDh is getting IMAX. It's too bad it couldn't be here in Folsom.

The only IMAX-type experience I've ever had was at Cape Canaveral. That was really interesting.

At first I thought you meant Light Rail goes to EDH. But I know what you mean. It does go in front of the one downtown.
