2A - I just don't give a crap whether you believe me or not. There are times I quite sure you wouldn't know the truth if it hit you over the head with a 2 by 4.
I ran across this today. Funny how things work out sometimes. While my teacher wasn't nearly this forceful, here is an example of what I was talking about.

Did anyone notice? SCA is apparently a school board member. I asked a question regarding the FCUSD policy on a teacher's use of offensive speech while teaching course material.
SCA declined to respond. When confronted with a pointed question, do the people in charge become silent? Transparency doesn't seem to be a priority at FCUSD.
Yes, I'm a school board member. I'm also a wife, mother, owner of an 11 week old puppy, Folsom Chamber board member, insurance broker, music booster board member, and a host of other things. I wasn't avoiding your question, I'm busy! Below is the link to the board policy regarding history and social science instruction. If I find anything else I'll post it here although it may not be exactly what you're looking for. How do you define offensive? As we know from these threads, what offends one person may not offend another. I don't think everything can be defined in a policy. If in the future you need a faster reply, feel free to call or text my cell phone at (916)798-5380 or email me at saquino@fcusd.org.

If people want to wallow in their White Guilt, go right ahead. I don't buy into it. And remember: it's the people who obsess over Race who are the real racists in the world, and I think it's disgusting that this is happening in schools. Sorry to Carl if my comment was tormenting him for the past 4 days.

Ooooops, sorry. You seemed johnny-on-the-spot with responses to previous inquiries, so I assumed you'd be the same for mine. My bad. I won't be calling you, nothing is time critical here. although I appreciate you offering your contact information. We'll keep all communication in this forum. this particular thread is near its end-of-life, and I was curious to see if FCUSD had a policy on the issue before the thread died. I will read what you sent.
Again, I apologize. you seem over-busy and I don't want to add to your burdens. And one other thing - I'm a dog person. DO NOT let me become a priority over your dog. IMO opinion, you can learn just about everything you need to know to get through life by simply watching your dog. They deserve your attention and esteem.

I still think that fine teacher got shafted. Mr. Hart, if you're reading this, best wishes to you.

No worries. I should have told you it would take me a few days to post the policy here. I spent a couple days answering emails, phone calls, and blog posts. Had to step away for a bit to get some other things done and for my sanity.
Regarding the dog, we got a labradoodle. Smart dog. Glad to have the sunshine for a few days though because potty training is tough when it rains for days on end. He would look at me like "really lady, you expect me to go outside in this weather?!"

Looks like the administrator deleted your image of Holder. Good move. It seemed a little over the top.
Your view on many things doesn't elicit much respect. I lost all respect for you a couple months ago when you proudly announced that you (and your wife) carried concealed firearms all the time, but neither of you had a permit to do so, which I believe is a crime in California. If nothing else is wrong, this is a misdemeanor and one of the penalties is loss of gun rights for 10 years, part of the probation. If the gun is not registered, or if you carry within 1000 feet of any school, the crime becomes a felony. that means jail time, lifetime loss of gun rights, lifetime loss of voting rights, lifetime travel restrictions, and a serious criminal record.
You are an admitted criminal from my perspective, and due no respect.

This topic has run its course. Shutting it down. If you want to further insult each other, how about arranging a face-to-face?
