I've been there a few times. They used to have great coupons in the local ad books.

Cool place, nice people, prices decent, food okay. I have enjoyed the garlic chicken, but I reek of it for a couple of days.

I'll be back some time.

Seriously, If you like Greek food, do yourself a favor and try the Greek Village Inn...

Love Greek food. Went to Kabob House once a few years ago; it didn't impress me for the price. Haven't gone back since.

On occasion we do take-out from Kabob House. The last time I ordered beef kabobs the meat was way overcooked -- dry and tough and tasteless. I decided to give it another try; I shared my last experience with the person who took the order and specified that I wanted the beef cooked medium-rare. It was way overcooked again. I think I'm done. :(

I like that restaurant but haven't been there very often for the reason you stated.
These days with money tighter I'm always looking for both good quality AND pricing.

Here's a comparison of a similar item at our local Mediterranean restaurants:
Gyro sandwich (strips of seasoned beef served with tzatziki sauce and pita bread).

Kabab House $7.95
Pita Pita Mediterranean Grill $5.99
Kabab Express $6.99

Key notes: Kabab House is a nice sit down restaurant with a good ambiance. Pita Pita is a smaller fast food type restaurant and the same goes for Kabab Express. So to me, the higher price at Kabab House is justified by the location/ambiance. That place is nicer for a sit down meal where as the other two are better for take out.

I've tried the gyro at all these places and without being biased just towards the lower price, I have to say Pita Pita actually made my favorite, everything tasted fresh and spiced and cooked perfectly....Kabab House was a close second.

Cheers!

There is a difference in quality and presentation of dishes as well.

in all I agree with most posts here. Excellent yummy restaurant. They know nearly all of my family and extended family by first name.

The prices have gone up over the years. or maybe i just notice what im spending , more.

Worth it though.

great restaurant
