Paul, you JUST NOW changed your first diaper?!!!....There is a lot of room to razz you here, but I'll be nice. smile.gif

So you changed your first diaper. Congratulations! But you have far to go before you catch up to John. Rumor has it that he can change two diapers simultaneously at 3:00 am with the lights off!

I agree with forumreader that we could harass you but I'm glad you finally changed one. My husband WILL have his first diaper change in the hospital. I know he will want to....at first.

Just wait until baby starts to eat solids....Then you really find out if daddy is made of steel! smile.gif

I'm also pretty fortunate, as my husband has never had a problem with diapers. Upset tummies are another story!

I'm curious, does everyone always use disposable diapers nowadays? Anyone out there use cloth or a diaper service?

I plan to use disposable diapers. I've read that if you have several kids in diapers that a diaper service for cloth diapers may be less expensive. I really don't want to hassle with cloth diapers.

Mother and mother-in-law enjoy most of the diapers. biggrin.gif . For the last two weeks, my wife did not allow me to touch Chris due to his circumsision and his belly cord situation.

I know my part will come once I will do my weekly Monday care for Chris. I will

Ok, so I have a question for all parents. I'm taking a poll of childbirth 'war' stories.

For some, like Cyber, he had the convenience of having relatives near the hospital, etc.

For others, like a co-worker of mine who had just moved to New Mexico, he drove with the kids (and wife in labor) in the middle of the night to the hospital as his nearest relative was 500 miles away.

We've all heard of kids being born on planes, cars, boats, camping, etc., complications, logistics, and so on.

So let the war stories begin! smile.gif

I am fortunate to have the hospital and relatives close by, BUT the delivery WAS heck. We are very upset with South Sac Kaiser Hospital.

It all depends on the baby, my son was always a difficult baby but my daughter was great from day one. Makes me wonder whats the third going to be like since I have had both already.
