Im unable to take care of him; my husband is not fond of dogs.
Buddy is a Gorgeous 18 month old, registered AKC, pure bred, Championship Line, White (English cream) Golden Retriever, male.
Neutered & up to date on shots. I got him from a breeder when he was 6 weeks old.
He is almost 90 pounds, still very playful, so has to be someone who is strong and active enough to manage a big dog; with a decent backyard..

status update ..... found someone who can help us ... thanks

Looks like back in July when this was first posted, $1500 was the asking price for Buddy.

How well trained is Buddy?
.. he can 'sit', 'stay', 'down', is house broken, still wont consistently respond to 'come' or 'heel'

Are the direct Sire and Dam AKC Champions? Do they have any working titles? Because if it's just Champion lines, it doesn't mean much. No offense.(btw, fyi ... about pricing for akc championship line purebred puppies, if anyone is truly concerned, they may want to do some research, no offense)

There is just no way I can personally justify that price. I would never need a dog of that pedigree for companionship.

That price seems outrageous. It can't be legit...
Just because someone asks for a price that may be outrageous to you, does not mean the person is not legit. She is genuinely trying to give the dog to a good home, because her family cannot care for the dog as much as they would like to.

I have seem many with less prestigious pedigrees for over $2000...
Another great day in the adventure of exploration and sight.

Similar experience with Aussies here. Great dogs and they're getting up in age now . . . 11 and 12 years old!
We got a papered purebred show quality lab for free. The owners were interested in getting their dog a good home, not recouping their expenses. Just sayin'...
